UPHOLDING ALL TEACHINGS YOU HAVE HEARD - Nuggets from 2 Timothy 1:13

2 TIMOTHY 1:13

In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to UPHOLD THE GENUINE TEACHINGS YOU HAVE HEARD AS A CHILD OF GOD, AND TRANSMIT THEM TO OTHERS IN TRUE CONVICTION AND WITH LOVE.

This is a call to be TRULY CONVINCED about the gospel we have received. When you are sure about something, you go about preaching it without fear of contradiction.

Apostle Paul admonished young Timothy to not just rely on the INTELLECTUAL or HEAD KNOWLEDGE of the scriptures he had received at the time, but to go a step further, seeking an EXPERIENTIAL KNOWLEDGE of it, ready to live it out practically for all to see.

Evangelism would be much more easier if only Christians were TRULY CHRISTIANS. If all Christians/Believers PRACTICE what they HEAR and PREACH, more souls would be saved and won for Jesus Christ. The reason most sinners remain adamant is because the so-called 'christians' are worse than them.

You wouldn't want to be a bad example out there, you wouldn't want to be the reason some sinner out there refuses to repent.

As you go out to preach the GOSPEL, we must understand that your life does the talking more than the words you speak. People are observing you.

Uphold the teachings in Love by being PASSIONATE and COMPASSIONATE about PREACHING the GOSPEL, always intentional about WINNING SOULS which should be the end result.
