HEBREWS 12:4
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to RESIST SIN PASSIONATELY EVEN IF IT'S GOING TO COST YOUR LIFE; DETEST, ABHOR, AND HATE SIN TILL YOU BREATHE YOUR LAST.
There's a daily battle every Christian is faced with - THE BATTLE AGAINST SIN AND TEMPTATIONS. For as long as we are alive, this battle continues.
You must be ready to resist sin with passion to the point that you don't care if you lose your life fighting it.
The heroes of Faith fought till the end and even had to pay the price with their own blood.
Stephen was stoned to death, John the Baptist was beheaded, James and Matthew were stabbed with a sword, Apostle Paul was beheaded, Philip was crucified, and many other Martyrs who had gory deaths.
They all resisted sin and every temptation and they were killed for it. They stood firm till death!
How far have you gone and how far can you go to resist sin unto blood?
Are you still living in your comfort zone, not ready to go an extra mile for the sake of this Christian Faith and your chosen path to live a HOLY & RIGHTEOUS life?
Possess the mindset that God wants you to hate sin and fight against it every day for as long as you live.
You can't resist sin on your own, and you don't need human energy to fight it.
GOD'S GRACE IS ALL YOU NEED!
Sin is a venom, a toxin that you can't afford to take in or play with, just the same way you wouldn't attempt to take a poisonous substance when you already know it has the potential to kill.
SIN KILLS, SIN MAIMS, SIN IS A DESTROYER!
Resist the devil, resist every urge and temptation to fall into sin, and God will empower you with requisite grace to fight it through till the end.
