LUKE 13:24
In today's HOLINESS CHALLENGE, I challenge you to MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO PASS THROUGH THE NARROW DOOR AT THE THRESHOLD OF THE NARROW WAY, BECAUSE MANY WILL TRY BUT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO; EXERT MORE PRESSURE AND PUSH HARDER TO PULL THROUGH.
The notion that many will seek to enter through the narrow door is more of a WISHFUL THINKING.
The fact that someone thinks about something or wishes for it doesn't make it materialize if it is not backed with ACTION.
As Christians, we are called to be PRAGMATIC in all our dealings, most especially in the matter of ETERNITY.
Many people want to go to Heaven but only few are willing to do all it takes to make it to Heaven at last.
Many want to be with God in ETERNITY but only few are willing to PAY THE PRICE of denying themselves worldly pleasures and sinful escapades.
Nothing good comes easy, how much more HEAVEN.
Spending eternity with God in Heaven at last is the ONLY achievement worth living or dying for.
Little wonder, Apostle Paul said that for him, "to live is Christ, and to die is gain." You ought to live your life everyday for the one who died for you.
STRIVING TO ENTER IN at the strait/narrow gate implies that you have to MAKE EVERY EFFORT NECESSARY and POSSIBLE against all odds to see that nothing stops you from making it to the pearly gates of Heaven at Last.
It won't be an easy task. You have a part to play, and it takes DEDICATION, COMMITMENT, ENDURANCE to make this happen.
To find your way through the narrow gate, you must first of all go through the strenuous hurdles and obstacles on the narrow way. Drop every load of sin and set your face like a flint, looking forward to passing through the narrow gate at last.
Do not be among the WISHFUL THINKING PASSIVE CHRISTIANS, rise to the occasion and go for it!
STRIVE, KEEP GOING, PUSH, BE RESILIENT AND DON'T STOP TILL YOU GET TO THE GATE OF HEAVEN!
